SYV HOTSHOTS

2023 Girls Spring Season
REGISTRATION COMING SOON
2023 marks the 1st official Spring Lacrosse Season for the Santa Ynez Valley girls!  For this upcoming Spring, we will schedule 6 games with Mission Lacrosse Club and 805 (SLO) Lacrosse Club. These programs are community-based programs like us.

Our goal this Spring is to have 1-3 teams in the following grade combinations: K-2 Grade, 3/4, and 5/6 grade.

Before playing this Spring Season, we require players to have attended an Ignite Beginner's Clinic and a few Training Sessions so they are adequately prepared to experience some success in a competitive setting.  We also use this time to make sure the player likes the sport before the parents invest in the necessary equipment to play.

The Hotshots are lead by Cara Hewes. For questions regarding girls lacrosse equipment, rules, etc. you can reach Cara at 301-537-4914 or cara.hewes@gmail.com.

GIRLS RULES - LAX 101
Girls Lacrosse Equipment

Hotshots loaner equipment is designed to be used for Beginner Clinics and Try Lax Clinics.  This equipment is necessary to have on hand so we can introduce lacrosse to new players and help grow the game.

All players must provide their own lacrosse equipment to participate in the Hotshots Spring Program.  This includes a lacrosse stick, goggles, and molded mouthpiece.  Gloves and girls lacrosse helmets are not required to have but are great options to provide more protection.

We believe it's important to invest in your daughter's lacrosse experience and we can help direct you to many affordable options.

In addition to lacrosse equipment, all players must have goggles, a molded mouthpiece and lacrosse or soccer cleats to be worn at every practice and every game.
