(Applies to All Hotshots Teams)

At various times throughout the year, the Hotshots enter into local or regional youth and high school tournaments.

​

These tournament teams are usually comprised of the more experienced and better skilled Hotshots, but based upon the availability of our kids, we may invite a few less experienced kids to play or combine Hotshots with other programs that share the same philosophy we do about lacrosse and player development.

There are local and regional lacrosse tournaments available throughout the year. Our primary tournament seasons are fall, winter and summer.

• Lodging/Hotel: When traveling away from home for a tournament, families will be responsible for securing and paying for their own lodging.  Games may be scheduled as early as 8AM but done by 5PM on Saturday or Sunday.

Player Fees Explained:  

​

• Player Fees can vary for each tournament: Division level, the Tournament Team Fee (which Hotshots pays up front and months in advance) and the event location.  Some tournaments are more expensive to participate in than others. The majority of the Player Fee covers our team fee and coaching stipend.  This includes the coach's pay for coaching practices and games, and their gas and lodging (if applicable).  What is left covers Club administrative costs, rental fees for practice fields, insurance, etc.

• Lacrosse tournaments either have 3 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday and others have a total of four games: 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.  It just depends on how many teams are in the division of the tournament.​

• Uniforms: There could be a separate cost for Hotshots uniforms (reversible game jersey and game shorts).​

​

• Deposits: Sometimes we can make player fees more affordable by offering a deposit, which is required to hold your place on the team.  The remainder of the player fee is expected to be paid by the deadline provided.  You may choose to pay the entire player fee during registration, which is always preferred and appreciated.
