Program Overview
Details about SB Lax School's plans for the Summer of 2026 are coming soon. SBLS Sessions are designed to develop athletic, confident, skilled and high-IQ lacrosse players through a curriculum that has been curated by UCSB Head & Assistant Coaches Mike Allan and Drew Hays. Each session blends fundamentals, decision-making, and gameplay in a fast-paced, positive learning environment.

Curriculum Outline
Each practice follows our 4-Quarter Training Model:
1. Speed & Agility (30 min)
2. Stickwork & Skill Reps (30 min)
3. Small-Sided Games with Constraints (30 min)
4. Full-Speed Competitive Drills, Games and Scrimmages (30 min)
This structure ensures high repetition, real-time coaching, and consistent development — without wasted time.
Final Week (12/21)
Players participate in a filmed scrimmage and receive a written evaluation, providing clear takeaways and individualized improvement notes.

At SB Lax School, our mission is to create a positive and challenging learning environment where young athletes can build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and grow their love for the game. We focus on teaching the how and why behind lacrosse skills so players learn to make good decisions, communicate effectively, and play with purpose.
We believe that when players enjoy the process, build good habits, and learn to compete with enthusiasm, they improve faster and have more fun doing it. Our goal is to help each athlete leave the field feeling proud of their progress and excited to return.
