Winter 2021-22 Training Sessions Overview

Our Winter Training Sessions will continue to provide high level instruction focusing on building and maintaining stick-work, footwork, shooting, conditioning and more.  We will ensure that our participants are ready to perform at their highest level when high school practices resume.  Players from Cate, Dos Pueblos, Santa Barbara, San Marcos High Schools are all welcome to train with the Hotshots.

Box Season for High School players (Varsity/JV) is from November 29 - January 24.  Players will be organized and placed on teams by ability.  Depending on the amount of players registered, we may form a league if we are able to create at least 3 teams per division.  If we don't have enough players to form a league, we will provide expert instruction and box specific drills and then play games.

Field Practices are for any High School player that would like to continue to train and prepare for the upcoming CIF season.

Winter 2021-22 Training Sessions Overview

Our Winter Training Sessions will provide high level instruction focusing on building and maintaining stick-work, footwork, shooting, conditioning and more.  We will ensure that our participants understand the meaning of teamwork while maintaining a positive, fun environment to compete in.

Box Season for youth players (Grades 4th-8th) is from November 30 - January 25.  Players will be organized and placed on teams by grade and or ability or size and put onto teams.  Depending on the amount of players registered, we may form a league if we are able to create at least 3 teams per division.  If we don't have enough players to form a league, we will provide expert instruction and box specific drills and then play games.

Field Practices are for any seasoned player that would like to continue to expand their knowledge and understanding of lacrosse.  All abilities are welcome but players new to the game must complete an IGNITE Beginner Clinic Series prior to advancing to Field Practices/Scrimmages.  The plan is to schedule scrimmages with outside competition when possible, or have intra-squad scrimmaging.
